... I decided to take a direct cab. I don't want to be rushing or having to worry about the time, the long cab ride will complete my experience (:

At this moment I'm just thinking about how I see myself there and the hotel.
I really hope the Yotel Hotel is exactly what I am expecting.

I'll write you guys soon, departure from AMS to NWK is 21 days left!

It was maybe 35C, so warmer than last year. The military were excused carrying the 10kg weight, and everyone started a quarter of an hour earlier (big deal). Lots of people had hosepipes spraying, although not everyone gave you the choice about how wet you got. I feared for my phone ...

At 20 miles, I sat and had a good rest, plus some lunch and ibuprofen and it all went a bit better after ...

    ... is returned!

After locking up my bike, I found a bench nearby and started to people watch. One interesting cultural norm I've been able to pick up is the lack of parenting. Mom is not panicking over the whereabouts of her son…Mom is examining those shoes! Stateside this would be unheard ...

... next to the highest point in the Netherlands - a whopping 322.7 meters.

Anyhow, we eventually arrived in Eindhoven and met up with some of the family. Nice for the kids, especially as they have never met any of that side of the family. Its 13 years since Chris and I were in Eindhoven, but its nice to see that the adults, at least, seem to have barely changed.
