It was a stay close to home day. We had a lazy mornng, restocked groceries and waited for SusanM to arrive for lunch. Some went to the Phillips Museum in the afternoon, either by bike or by bus. It was an extremely well curated museum with lots of interactive exhibits, although it was a bit self promoting.

Kathleen, Pamela and I had a very uneventful flight from Ottawa to Frankfurt (always a good to have an uneventful flight), arrived at midnight Ottawa time, 6am Frankfurt time. We had breakfast at the airport (McDonald's of all places), and waited for our 9:30 train to Eindhoven. Train trip was about 4.5 hours! great way to see the countryside, very green, rolling farm land in between the cities, the trains ...
... Olie Bollen and watching the Water Show. The talking rubbish bin statues were a hit! "dank je wel" and "papier hier" they said when the kids put rubbish in!
We travelled over to Aunty Gitta's in Wateringen to stay the night and were treated to some yummy pinderkaas soup - who would have known peanut butter soup could be so delicious!!! (Thanks Gitta.)
