... eat and only a few alcoholic drinks!! Couldn't really sleep so I am going to be really tired when all this hits me. Carole my sister picked me up at the airport. I didn't have any issues getting through and I used the new "smart exit" so was out of the airport in about 15 minutes. Home to a wonderfully clean and tidy house. ... and provided a drooping canopy large enough to picnic under. It is magnificent. A little further along we found the Abbey, or what's left of it. The once proud buildings stands in ruins but it's still breathtaking. As we headed back David told me that had we taken the other path we would have met up with the Thames and stumbled across the meadow in which the Magna Carta was signed by King John back in 1215. It was in a place called Runnymede which is not far from Windsor so ...

... Tullumarine. Both Nat and Ryan were waiting for us at the arrival gate. It was unexpected because we planned to call Nat when we cleared customs for her to drive up to the airport to pick us up. But to see them as soon as we got out of customs was very special and emotional.
It was the perfect way to finish our trip. A trip that has given us a lifetime of memories and has made us thirsty for more of the same.
Planning for the next trip has already commenced.

We arrived at Heathrow in good time and went through security quickly, with no delays. We stopped at Boots Pharmacy and bought some Hermesetas sugar free sweetener. It is similar to Splenda, but comes packaged in a small cylindrical container which holds 1200 tiny Hermesetas tablets. Two Hermesetas is equal in sweetness to one packet of Splenda.
