... a final fish and chips for me.

Our first mishap of the trip had occurred earlier in the day when my camera decided that it would play up caused I think by some moisture in the works still from Cambodia. It cleared itself and then went off again so Dixon's Duty free had the benefit of an extra sale'

We finally made it to the 'disabled ' area only to be told that the gate was some 30 metres away so we walked anyway!

... can live from a bag weighing 21kg for the next 8 months, so why did I once own a house full of stuff. I am excited about diving on Monday although so far am struggling to learn all the names of the fish that I am to study, so they are called BOB 1-36 at some point I might remember that they are angelfish or groupers but at the minute all too much to take on board, then I will have to read about lemurs for the next exercise ...

... the door and can’t wait to sample it. Also stopped at the market for some food and fresh fruits and vegetable. There are no large grocery stores, people here buy their produce everyday from small butcher shops, fish markets, cheese shops, fruit and vegetable stands and bake shops. And oh those bake shops!!!!!!! On day 2 we walked to the Eiffel Tower. There were fairly long lineups at all 3 bases of the tower, but the 4th seemed to be shorter, so I opted to go to the short ...

This day seemed so far away five weeks ago when we arrived in Rome. But here it is, time to head for home.
We had our last delicious breakfast cooked by Jim at Number 9 in Stow-in-the-Wold, had a final check of our room then we packed the car ready for our drive to Heathrow airport. Our flight was due to leave at 3pm so we didn't have to rush.
