So today is a lazy day after our adventures yesterday. Breakfast was yummy - the usual bread, ham cheese fruit yoghurt etc but plenty of it. Then we went to have a look around gavle town. Interestingly north sweden first town with some interesting architecture dating back to 1600s. The church was particularly ornate. Still boiling hot around 28 degrees so still roasting while riding around. Forgot to mention everyone in gavle seems to love American muscle cars ...

This had the added benefit of being eminently sailable so with the genoa unfurled and with winds moving all over the place, even to the SSE, we approached the narrow channel into Häggvik.

What a delight! We were chuffed to bits, it was scenic, very sheltered and just charming. There were fisherman’s houses with their ...

... done and as we were not a million miles from a McDonalds and as I hate to give up on things, we decided to go there to avail ourselves of their wifi. 90 minutes later and still here, I’m typing this but at least we are getting our downloads!!!

Later, back on the boat we were visited by a young man to collect our fees – 400SEK for two nights in very comfortable and scenic surroundings, not bad at ...
