We had another goodish hop to do again today, either 28 miles or 48 miles, depending upon our eventual stopping point which would, in turn, depend upon how the day panned out ie the wind. It looked quite promising to start with, with a F3-4 NW wind, not brilliant but it was sailable for the initial phases. We planned a 50 mile trip today and in the normal order of things we would have set off quite early. However, the facilities here had a timelock on them, being closed from 23:00 to 07:00. Our morning ablutions then couldn't start until after 07:00 and in fact, in my case it was much later as I chatted to the 3 friendly Swedish gentlemen who were having coffee in the kitchen area of the facilities.
