Cold Weather and Cave Kisses

... Cave tour.

The cave was amazing! My favorite part was walking under the crystals and feeling the little drops of water ("cave kisses") on my head. Each cave kiss is worth a day of good luck. I stood under one crystal for a few minutes and just waited while I stacked up a weeks worth of good luck.

Overall, Bermuda was beautiful and definitely a place I'd like to come back and visit once more.

The familiar house names welcome me. I see the usual fields of vegetables, smell my first fragrant freesias and note that it is a great year for loquats. Memories from my previous life here start to flow with these familiar sights ...

... a lot more. I don’t think I’ve seen anybody smoking anywhere, though. I guess all the smokers this age would have already died.

Speaking of which. Mike with the tiny hands was telling me that he took a TA one time that was the last leg of a long world voyage. So when he got on everybody else had been sailing together for months. He met an old lady about 90 and she proceeded to tell him about all the ...

... That is REALLY cool because I used to watch that movie all the time! So I got to meet her and she sang Journey to the Past. But what is really cool is that her piano player can’t make it the next time she comes on June 16th so she wants me to play for her! So I’m going to play Journey to the Past for the person who originally sang it! I’m very excited but I’m also really nervous. I need to get the ...
