Well, a very long day, but once again packed with so much.

For the first time in ages, we set an alarm to wake up us at 6am. Our hotel was OK, but the room was on the second floor. This was accessed by two very narrow and circular staircases, and with heavy suitcases, it was a test of Vik's stamina. I quickly checked our tickets and …

Long day of travelling today. Set off around 10. Travelled thru Belgium & the Netherlands before arriving in Germany. Only 3 stops required ('mum I need a wee, dad I need a poo, We're HUNGRY!!'). After we ate, we made for the hotel as the rain had stopped. A tram was available so we rode to the hauptbahnhof. We were settled by 9:00pm in anticipation of our trip to das kapital in the morning.
