... a British skipper on the boat led to lots of joking and laughter. We played cards a few times, Heads Up, and watched a movie, and listened to music while sailing.

This was a once in a lifetime trip and we are so thankful to Tom and Carol for being such gracious hosts.
We are now in Slovenia, enjoying the cooler temperatures and the Julian Alps. More on that soon...

Not only did we have beautiful scenery and a great time with friends and family, we also learned about sailing an 82ft boat. The Bonetkoning was built in 2005 and is completely computerized and state of the art. I had no idea you could put a boat like it on auto pilot and then change its course with a mouse. Even little things like the conversations we had or the setting of the restaurant/cafe. The ruins have been amazing as well.
