Packing up our site, we drove back
through the Mount Carmel Tunnel to the eastern side of Zion, with the
smooth orange slickrock. Saw a group of seven big horn sheep, hiked
a bit, but need to make time to make it to Lake Powell to pick up our
kayaks. Drove through the intense heat of southern Utah past the
Grand Staircase Escalante area and nothing but rocks, rocks, and more
rocks. When you cross the border into Arizona and a tiny bit of blue
... there is no purpose then you can just make the purpose your vision of how you want to live life.
But NO one can explain the purpose better then this man.

We arrived at Bullfrog Marina from Moab and the kids took well to the RV on Pontoons! Again, just when you thought the views couldn't get any more incredible there was Lake Powell. It's as if you are on another planet.
Two and a half days on the boat then it's back to Provo, UT to get the RV and then on to I70 and the mountains in Colorado. Limited wifi so we are off. Leaving Green River, UT now for Rifle Range State Park in Colorado.
We saw the lake from a distance and the incredible contrast of the bright blue water color as it met the red hues from the rockwork, drew us in. Of course we had to stop. I would have liked to rent a boat for the day and go explore the area but the walk from the car to the beach area had me really breathing heavy and almost wiped ...
