make two trips to fit the 2 smaller Tsunami kayaks in one trip, and
the larger 2-man Tsunami and the rest of the paddles, PFD's, pumps,
etc. Bob deposits Claire and Deb and a mound of gear in the
intense heat by the Stateline launch ramp and we proceed to try to
stuff our drybags of food, tents, dry clothes, etc into the small
kayak hatches while Calder and Bob go back for the two-man.

... it was so unreal. Truly a beautiful and well worth stop.
(We ended up losing half our group and our Navajo tour guide in the canyon somewhere but we believe they emerged from the canyon about 10 minutes after we did so it was all good) ;-)

Alas we had to leave and move on but we arrived in good time at the 'Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort' to camp down for the night before a day of hiking in Zion National Park tomorrow.....
