... the house today and Phil did some more getting familiar with his computer. He is making progress and he stays in his office with it and me in the kitchen area so he is not tempted to ask for help till he really needs it. We talked about going for a walk but it just was not a nice day out. Later we went for groceries and then to Melissa’s for dinner. As usual lately, she was not there. It was a full meal - drinks, several for some folks, salad, appetizers, choice of 4 meals, dessert and all – Phil was footing the bill for this as his part of the wedding. It was a typical noisy Italian/Irish get-together!! Leaving there we made a stop at Sabatini’s for a drink and I was able to say hi to a bunch of people we know. A good evening and we sat and talked till midnight.
Dec 11th-We did not get up till 10 am! I find I am just not a neat freak like him and that seems to be a problem. I am more relaxed about it and eventually all is cleaned and put away, but not up to his standards. But beyond that it was basically another day at home, though he went to the laundry and I washed my clothes and dishes here.
