I so loved our place of anchor last night. I fell asleep with tepid, calming winds blowing over the deck, and ruffling my bedsheets. Unfortunately a long night's rest was not in the cards for me. I woke up around 3:00a.m., to a methodical, occasional, "thump", feeling like it was coming from beneath Milena. I woke up very early this morning, and looked out into the darkness, at our small bay which was now infested with more than 30 boats, all with conflicting LED lighting. I put my head down on the pillow, and glanced upward, toward the heavens and the milky way. 8 July 2015, TurunÁ

This is the day. The day / date that was highlighted in our calendar when we left Poland. It's the reason we chose to go south east to Turkey. It’s Family Day. Today we move to the Hotel Loryma in TurunÁ, to meet Fi and Paul Buckley and our "special" nephews, from Broxburn!

The GPS and Google Maps put is at 10Km from Camp Evcan – as the crow flies. We travelled separately and both arrived ...

    July 16, 2015 Serife's Restaurant

Turkey has been an interesting place and a very positive experience, so far. There are several reasons for this but two of them are the very warm and friendly people and the delicious food. Usually the two are found together.

Serife’s restaurant in TurunÁ turned out to be a favourite at any time of the day. So it was ...
