... and the waves were rough, but it was still enjoyable … or at least, we saw the best coral of the trip. Near the dive boat, we saw a lot of fish, but little coral. As we swam towards the reef, the coral improved. Mostly, we saw small coral heads, containing a variety of staghorn, fan, and brain coral. In between the living heads, it looked like much of the coral had been destroyed by storm: broken gray bits, half-buried in sand.

Today we arrived in St. John's, Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda. We debarked the ship and walked a bit until we reached what seemed to be some sort of plaza, where a local was balancing a pineapple on her head while grooving to music, hoping to make a few dollars off of us tourists. Later in the day, we took a tour of the island and saw two gorgeous beaches: Dickinson and Runaway.
