After breakfast, Visit to Matsumoto Castle, is unique for having both a secondary donjon and a turret adjoined to its main keep. The castle structures, in combination with their characteristic black wainscoting, give off an air of grandeur and poise. ... then another cable car to Kurobe Dam.

It was freezing at the dam, even colder than at the peak at Murodo. The dam had an elevation of only 1450m but the wind was freezing. It was a great view of the dam but did not have enough time to go right to the top.

Unfortunately, the restaurant at the top closed at 3pm and it was well past that by the time we arrived. We had to buy some lunch at the counter in ...

Last weekend we were at an assembly in Takasaki. The believers were with us from Friday evening until Monday evening. They have much to teach us in zeal, evangelism, and sacrifice for others.

Jim spoke twice on Saturday at a missions conference and then we each separately gave our testimony of how we were led into missions to ...
