We departed Shanghai yesterday morning bound for the medium sized city of Wuhan (population of 9 million) of the Hubei province. This was where we would begin our cruise up the Yangtze River. After dinner last night, we had a stage show put on by the crew. It was a lot of fun with magic, dance and pantomime acts. Bob, the on board director is a showman, singing, dancing and clowning around. He is 198 cm or 6'ft 6 inches. He has to duck his head in some places on the ship, otherwise he gets scalped. He is from New York. At the end, we danced to 70s music.
