The streets are filled with people, mostly eating. The cuisine is a lot different here than in Liuzhou. It is not as spicy. The island gets by on growing food and tourism. There were big trucks lined up for blocks waiting to fill up with fruits and vegetables that will be shipped to the northern part of mainland China.
