BAD NEWS!
So far everything has been going swimmingly, the right stamps issued by the right departments, just one more to get, and Ted rang to say he wants to meet at Gregs apartment...
The last government department said NO to Teds application to sponsor a Z visa and residence permit application. No explanation, I meet or exceed their requirements, no reasons listed for the declined application... Just No.
So I am on a job hunt again!

Arrival at last.
... relating to my new job. Ted was happy when he came back to the car with them.
Ended up in Fenghua a half hour drive south of Ningbo where the school is located. My new workplace is a franchise branch of the Shanes English Schools network. I have a little one room apartment until the teacher I am replacing leaves and I move into his emptied apartment.

Sleepy Time for Hoopie
... 26 hours of traveling. When I arrived Sylvie and I had to roll my 50 lbs suitcases through her winding housing complex which ended up being just laughable as well as a pain in the butt. I'm told that this is the hottest week of summer they have had thus far in Ningbo. It's super humid and I've had a nice sticky layer since I got here.

Big ol' Ningbo Update
... Another feature that undermines his otherwise golden aura of canine dignitas is the fact he his as dumb as a box of rocks. I have only really known Black labs and one Chihuahua personally. I guess on some level I always assumed that all dogs were that intelligent, but Moonie as I call him clearly disproves that view.
