There was a thundstorm and rain while we were shopping & when we started to head home the skies opened with rain, hail, sleet & snow. It was coming from all directions. Reid takes us to Decathalon and Forum sports stores. They are cheap & we could go crazy, but just buy Tess a new pair of soccer boots.
We arrive back and Leana has arranged beef & vegetable pita wraps for dinner.

Andrew goes into work for a few hours. We have some quiet time. We settle the kids in for a movie and dinner and then we meet Andrew after work at their favourite restaurant for a parents dinner and cidar.
Dan, Andie and Tess sleep at the Millars and the rest of us head back to our apartment.

It is great to see them.
We have been on a promise for almost 10 years that we would visit them in Gijon. They have been home 3 times over the years. It is so nice to finally be here.

First days in Oviedo have been a little weird. The city is supposedly small but I'm still pretty much completely lost wherever I go excluding a few places. Although if you go up to a park above my apartment you can see the snow covered cordilleras (mountains) and it's pretty beautiful. I can't wait until the weather is warmer and less rainy so I can go on hikes. Other than that, I'm just trying to get used to living in ...
