... waste not wants not I guess!
From here we headed back to the floating hotel which sadly was still floating and tried to get some sleep. I was woken about 3am by the sound of what I first though was a motorbike and after realising we were on the water worked out it must have been a boat. I could then here someone moving about which I was convinced was on our balcony. After about an hour the sound stopped and I went back to sleep but it was very disconcerting ...

This was just a one night stop-over before heading on to Saigon. We went for a slightly more expensive room on the third floor with a balcony. Unfortunately, it overlooked the street, so it was noisy most of the night. I guess the windows didn't have great sound proofing. The cheaper rooms facing the other way, may have been better (noise-wise). Pretty average breakfast. Interesting sign for the lift: "Do not use the elevator after 7pm, because the power is weak!". If I could've got a couple of hours sleep, I would've given the hotel a higher rating!
