After our fun and games booking the home stay we got completely carried away with ourselves and threw caution to the wind by turning up in Chau Doc without a hotel reservation. This was completely cavalier for us as we are quite cautious and have always made reservations in advance of turning up in a new location, but we thought what the heck!
