We walked on part of the Varden trail and then to a lower viewpoint. We returned through a beautiful park with a Chateau House and along the waterway back to the ship. After lunch, we walked to the main shopping area, Storgata, with its Jazz Boy and Rose Maiden statues. We watched many of the local ferries come and go from our deck.

Most of the group was to have a seafood buffet, but with the large amounts of food on the boat, Mom and I decided to have a walk around the cute village. Felt very spoilt waking up to see snow covered mountains from the front of the tent. Very special treat. After talking with a friendly Dutch lady who now lives in Norway, we decided to head further northwest, towards the town of Kristiansund. Before reboarding the ship, we tried shopping for chocolate to take with us, but the store wouldn't accept our credit card without a PIN number! Oh we'll, we didn't really need all that candy!That evening after dinner the singers did a really fine tribute to Broadway & movie tunes. It was a lot of fun .
