... form of fish for Midsummer's eve, and Myy brought me gifts from Japan. I adore them all beyond reason. We stayed up late, watched somewhat lame attempts at folk dancing, and laughed endlessly.

On Saturday night, all of them walked us to the bus station and stayed, standing in the fading light of a summer night by the harbor in Malmo, waving us off as we climbed on board and turned North towards Stockholm. A storybook ending.

Before you ask...I take the bus to class. I think it's very important to not get lost on the way to class. But why not take it back? Because it costs 12.50 krona everytime I ride, and I am a cheapskate...that's why ...

From Bremen we travelled up through Denmark, then across to Odense, and finally took the long bridge over to Copenhagan. The Bridge was amazing and the view from it utterly stunning. In Copenhagen we first searched out the Little Mermaid then drifted back to the car. It was good to see so many bicycles. We weren't staying in the city so we headed off again...this time for Sweden.

In the city of Lund just inland of Lomma, is home to one of the oldest and largest universities in Sweden. Both Staffan's father and brother attended the civil engineering master's programs there. ... it today, stop in Hamburg, and then finish the drive off tomorrow and end up in Amsterdam on Thursday. Driving isn't that difficult bc the steering wheel is on the left side and you drive on the right side of the road (just like the states), the only tricky part is reading signs in differnt languages...oh well! ... we decided to meet up with our friends at the nation Krischanta later on. We left my dorm with another Swedish corridor mate David and met our friend Blake at the nation. Krischanta has been really fun in the past as it has a nice lounge and dance area. That night though the DJ did feel the need to play an extra amount of reggae music. I like listening to reggae and its good on occasion whether you decide to play it on a sunny day to up your mood ...

Hello everybody! I haven't gone yet but I certainly am getting ready to GO! I will arrive at Copenhagen, Denmark on 8/8/07 and won't have an hotel room :-( this because of a fashion fare that will last for three days. It just wiped out my chances for a room in Copenhagen. I guess I will have to stay in Malmo Sweden (35 min by train) Only 16 days but I can't wait for a trip of a lifetime (gonna be broke for the rest of it...:-) )
