Being the first new country for us on this trip, Sweden was very lovely. Very familiar the rest of Scandinavian at times but very different in its own way. A lot of relaxing was done and fond memories were made, Stockholm will have to be another time and we look forward to it.

Good morning/evening/afternoon/whatever it is in whatever time zone you are in. It's morning for me, Friday morning, and i am writing this from Copenhagen airport while I await my flight to Oslo. As per usual, I got here ridiculously early, just to be safe, and now have quite a bit of time to kill, so thought I would write a post to round out my Danish experience. ... architecture.

We are excited to get up in the morning and find Dede her MacDonald's restaurant so she can check out menu differences between countries. The fist game is tomorrow so we are excited to see how the team looks. There are about 400 of us in Sweden now so I am confident you will be able to see us during the game tomorrow. The arena only sits about 5,000 and we are lower bowl between the blue lines. Go Canada Go!!

... at 1.08pm - all very smooth!! The hardest part was saying goodbye to Annelie & Håkan who are now my good friends. Their hospitality & generosity were amazing and much appreciated. They couldn't have looked after me any better and I felt very comfortable with them. I loved seeing their favourite places and being a part of their family. I will definitely be taking Grant back as Sweden is such a fantastic place to visit. ...

... and some are summer houses (beach houses). They are a mix of styles and sizes but all are very interesting. There are many golf courses here as well. I am very impressed with the cycle paths and to see so many people out riding or walking on them. The beaches are surprisingly good with sand (not pebbles) and the many beach cabins indicate that they get used a lot during the summertime.

Another excellent day with the best weather so far this trip!
