We return to Colima, visit a folk museum with giant puppets and masks, and Soph looses her temper with the neighbours in the hotel this time - booting the wall to shut them up! We try Bate a gritty blend of tea and mucus (it seems) served with syrup and a straw... needless to say we dont finish our cup.

is produced from beans.The street food was seriously tasty (cow tongue taco anyone?) and we wander the old cobbled streets and eat among throngs of mexicans with mariachi bands. Boys in trucks coast the plaza at night with blue neon lights and loud traditional mexican music blasting.

... which sign is for which hotel. We end up in a hospedaje where the plants outside are growing through the window, the mattress is filthy and for some unknown reason we agree to stay there (maybe out of shock). After some consideration we make our excuses and get a bus out of Colima for good!

  • Noguera, tellement pres de Comala que nous y allons en marchant. C'est le village d'origine de l'artiste Mexicain Alejandro Rangel Hidalgo. Un musée avec ses oeuvres s'y trouve. Il y a aussi une belle collection de pieces pré-hispaniques, avec les fameuses statues representant des chiens typiques de l'Etat de Colima et qu'on ne trouve nulle part ailleurs

... zipped through 4 cities on this day, and Bod said we had to have been "loco" to have pulled it off. I was just a passenger enjoying the sights while he did all the hard work. Our first stop was the city of Colima, the capital of... you guessed it, Colima. We visited an archeological site, La Campana.
