Leoinafrica stayed here on Dec 17, 2011 during their trip titled: Leoinafrica's Great Adventure.
... feeling quite sad, a bit quiet, and very thankful for being Australian. We all met for dinner at a restaurant on the water named 'Ali Baba', decorated in fairy lights and brightly coloured cushions, throws, rugs and ornaments hanging from the canopy, much how I would imagine the inside of a genie bottle might look. I had been hoping to try a Sheesha since we'd arrived, after all, when traveling, do as the locals do. After dinner Muhammad ordered a ...
... a cabin with the bed on a second floor with stairs built inside the room. Lucky and I want to build our room like the one we found in the resort back in New Zealand if we ever get the chance. We ordered dinner as it takes time to cook the meals here and went snorkelling. We had to wear shoes to protect our feet from the coral in the sea. How has this hotel rated in the past?
Very cool location, nice ambient and good food.
The camp is directly on the beach at 50 meters of a wonderful coral reef and 10 minutes walk from shops and restaurants in town.
Habiba is member of the WOOF so they have a farm nearby were they grow organic vegetables and you can work for a while as a volunteer if you want. You get a room and nice food.
There are several tour operators that can organize whatever you want to do in the area for reasonable prices.
