A travel blog entry by parkitromp on Mar 16, 2014

We couldn't afford not to make the last boat this time. Maddie, her sister and cousin (and respective partners) were already there as had flown the day before and we had already booked rooms at what was the most expensive place to date. We jumped on a bus back to Jerantut (not because we loved it so much but that it was the bus hub for getting people around the northern part of the country). Hmmm, totally understand the chorus of laugh and sighs now. The dive was cool as we saw a one eyed, half tailed blue spotted ray and it was exciting to be 'going ...

... the best way to tackle this situation.

Hello ****** backpackers! I've missed you!: Well, not really, but there's nothing that quite lets you know that you're on a budget holiday than a extraordinarily average night of accommodation. No window, mosquitoes galore, no hot water, holes in the blanket, pillows like rocks and a power point that gives off sparks every time you plug your electronics in (it could be this or the fact that I had to use two plugs ...
