Lisa and I got to Maribor, Slovenia about 8pm on Saturday and checked in to a pretty cool camp ground. There was great facilities, water, places to do your dishes, no timed showers :) We set up camp which we are becoming pro's at. We have a massive green …

We said our own “nasvidenjes” to Andrej and his girlfriend, Gunta who was visiting from Latvia, and headed even further east into Slovenia’s Jeruzalem wine district, hoping that it was more tourist oriented.
We got off to a welcoming start when two old men who were pressing grapes in their backyard invited us to taste their freshly crushed juice as well as a prior year's wine. They cut it with seltzer ...
... southeast to Ptuj, before continuing on to Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Montenegro. We saved the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana, for the end of our trip when we turned in the rental car. (Stay tuned for that posting!)

We arrived after a 45 minute drive to find a small festival in full swing. Free wine tasting and free poppy seed cake made Diannes day complete early in the piece. Our super shopper Bianca also bought a bag and received a free gift from the girl making them, so she had also peaked early. Josh and I were enjoying the excellent band, especially when they broke into Smoke on the Water.

... Celje shocked the entire hall. It was third wins out of 8 total in this championship that have brought us to the semi-finals, in which Lithuania and yet again was too heavy rival for us.
We finished fourth at end , after another lost game from Spain.
We spent a few hours after the game on Beer therapy at tents around sporthall, with music and everything.
Later we visited center of Celje. And ...
