... ventured up the short gorge for some leg stretching and photo opportunities. Sadly no rock art to be found here but it's documented that some 200 rock art sites have been mapped in the many caves and overhangs scattered throughout the BK and Kouga mountains and are said to date back to 15,000 years ago.

After breakfast we travel down the Kwazulu Natal coast past Durban. This is a relatively large city which we bypass, successfully keeping the group together and not losing anyone. Some of our party find it a little stressful but all is well and we're all there as we stop for lunch on the coast.
