Bit of a trek but private beach, pool and beautiful views. Great if you want to stay in the resort. Not great if you plan to go out anywhere.

It's been a long time since I've been on an overnight journey, let alone a sleeper train. It reminds me of India, of the start of my trip, the start of this journey on which I've taken myself. My journey is nearing the end. I'm tired and I'm looking forward to going home but I'm not quite ready yet. I had a plan brewing for the ...

... your step, but koh tao is beautiful, I would class it as the most traditional Thai island with the colourful long boats, warm soft sand, sea water so clear you could see all the colourful fish not to mention all the little wooden huts that were on the beach.
We had a little walk to our guest house and quickly checked in, our room was HUGE and our bed was raised on a concrete slab with just the mattress and pillows very cool!!

... We had lunch, then Helin and Hattie got manicures and I got a pedicure. Helin got a sky blue colour that as it dried turned to lilac and then purple, it was very odd. We went back for a final pool session in the afternoon, and had dinner at the restaurant again, Hattie and I had the massaman curry for the second time, it was so good. We went back the reggae bar, it was shut but the opened it back up for us. Day 8 - Another long travel day back to Bangkok, it took about 12 hours on ...
