Bit of a trek but private beach, pool and beautiful views. Great if you want to stay in the resort. Not great if you plan to go out anywhere.

Luck was on my side they were all really great people and we were going to have a great time together over the next five days for full moon. We were all staying at beach village backpackers which was a great hostel resort with an amazing pool and great vibes. For the evening we went ...

We knew we were going to look around for a place to do our padi and we had heard most places provide accommodation if you go with them. When we arrived, we thought Nadapa was quite funky. It had an unusual layout of funky ornaments pottered around everywhere - it was weird but wonderful. We felt like we were Alice in Wonderland. Once checked in, we had some research to do in ...

... and experienced the 'real' thailand as I have heard it's much more traditional here and less about western partying. Danielle, Maria and Laura left koh Tao a few days earlier than Charlotte and I and our plan was to meet them in Krabie. I was quite relived to leave koh Tao as after Krabie, I had decided to make my way to Cambodia. Whilst in Krabie, I decided to visit the Tiger Temple which holds 1237 steps to the top. I had made friends with a rather eccentric girl ...

... an oversized Tuk-Tuk, over cramped with people for the half an hour journey. We then boarded the boat for what was set to be our worst leg of a journey by fare. The water for the two and a half hour journey was choppy, choppy enough to make the whole boat go very quiet and a number very seasick. Unfortunately Vicky ended up being one of these people and spent the journey sat at the back of the boat near the WC, without ever having to go though! When we made it to Koh Tao there were ...
