Bit of a trek but private beach, pool and beautiful views. Great if you want to stay in the resort. Not great if you plan to go out anywhere.

Not to sure where to go today but had to book something up. New place is ok but a lot more hectic than out little bungalow! Need to make some plans for next couple of days...

... t have room for four people, so we ended up spending a bit more and getting a hut on the beach! It's in a perfect location ie a 10 minute from the full moon party, but far enough away that we can't hear any of it! The full moon party was as big as expected! We ended up meeting up with Sian's friends from Nottingham for predrinks. We finally met the three people who had been at the same hostel as us in koh samui, the same bus and ferry as us over to koh phangan, ...

... destroyed! So we weren’t too confident about the next island up in the chain as tourism often talks up places.

Fortunately our fears were unfounded. There’s supposedly 41 dive centres here on this tiny island and they have coral, fish and half decent visibility! Beaut! Perfect!

So while we did plan to dive, firstly we needed to do some snorkelling in the surrounding bays to verify coral and fish, or else diving would be a waste of time ...

... I am clearly fixated on having different flavours as apposed to food simply having a purpose of nourishing me. Day 1: The detox started at 7am with a clay shake, when I say clay I literally mean mud clay from the ground mixed with cilium husk and water or watermelon juice. It was disgusting!!!! Then we had our morning yoga at 8am and at 10am instead of breakfast we got to have another shake hmmmm. Dinner was a veggie broth, and I thought great ...

Planes, Trains and Automobiles and a Sick Baby

... know. All we cared about was that our boat was meant to leave at 7am. We quickly jumped off the train as soon as it pulled into our stop and were ushered onto a bus to the pier. To our delight, the boat had waited! Hugo, not minding the sicky baby, stuck with us, and we found it nice to have the company of him and steph, made a change from just each other. I had been dreading the boat journey as it was the slow boat, and Ru was ill, but it was fine. ...
