    ... This is first time I have ever known this in a hotel of any sort. You could argue that it’s a risky way for a hotel to try and give a better service; I can well imagine some people finding this intrusive.

    ... even though he could probably kill us in seconds. His breed is 1/4 wolf apparently! If he wanted to he could put his head out one side if the car and have his tail wagging out the other - his owner told us he does that a lot.

    We said goodbye to Rojo (or rather, he ran off) so we moved on to Half Moon Bay beach. We jumped out the car and reached this really steep hill so all but one of us turned around ...

    ... supplies. Then heading back to the motel BAM! Another problem! Traffic seemed to be suddenly awful! We eventually come to the turning where our motel was and discover that police have closed the road off! We stopped the car to ask how we get to our motel to discover that right outside our motel had been a "drive by" fatal! Shooting! Arghhhhh! We were told that we could get to the motel, but we would have to go round the back way! Ok ...
