Wow - 2 enormous suites, helpful staff & shuttle, pool & breakfast even if 5 miles from airport in a sort of self-contained compound. Outstanding value

We checked out and then drove about an hour and a half to Loveland, CO where we had breakfast with the Walter family at Mimi's. I love my family! We left there by 11:00 and took off in our little Spark for DEN. We breezed through traffic much quicker than we expected. We turned in our rental car and that process went much ...

... that the characteristics we speak of are those of the Chinese city dwellers. Those families we spent time with in the rural areas are much different, more sedate, more humble and cautious.
China is “clean enough”, but not really clean. Things work, “well enough”, but even in newer buildings and hotels, you can see things that aren’t “quite right”, but don’t seem to get fixed. Perhaps the country ...

... day, January 10, I went to downtown Denver on my own and visited the highlights. Unfortunately the Capitol was under construction, so there was nothing to see... story of my life... I visited 16th Street, a nice shopping street, where I had lunch at the Paramount Cafe.
While it was all very nice, I realized it is much more fun to visit a city with someone else than all by yourself haha.

In the afternoon I had my first meeting with my ...
