... and the hunger wasn't satisfied!

The path continued slightly inland so we only got the occasional glimpse of two lake. We crossed paths with two young and very fit Slovakian ladies a few times. The first when we had both taken a wrong turn - actually, we missed a turn that went over the rail line and we ended up on a gravel track. Second time was when one was on the bike path and the other on the road was stopped at roadworks.

... enjoying the clear blue skies and walking the small beach. Next, we were told about Lake Heviz, another outdoor thermal spa, and we had to check it out. This was the third thermal spa we had been to in 4 days! We both agreed that this was the best one by far and also the cheapest. We ate nice dinners that Chris' mom and grandma used to make for him- chicken paprika, turos tzusa and policsinta. We also walked around the towns of Heviz ...

... This required a visit to a notary and then the SA Embassy to have it ratified. Well, the notary was fine. € 60 for 10 minutes face time and a few cords and stamps. The form had space for 2 witnesses of the signatures. The notary assured us that in Hungary, her stamp and signature negated the need for witnesses.

So on to the Embassy on the next day. We had phoned for an appointment, to be told there were none ...

... an inquisitive swan that was very interested in our lunch. He came ever closer and issed at us a few times, but finally dad hissed back and got it to move away. It tried coming back one more time, but was convinced to leave us alone with more hissing and further demonstrations that we were in fact bigger than it.
