We anchored outside Arbatax marina and had lunch but despite wanting to stay on the anchor, it was too rolly and we went into the marina itself. Traveled from Caglairi along a combination of road types. Interpreting the GPS directions took us up lanes and dead ends but the advantage was we were off the tourist routes. Housing so different to Australian standards. However all seemed well kept. We stopped at Nauaghi and toured the archeological restoration of Stone, Bronze, Steel and Roman civilizations. These stone constructions after being utilised for various requirements were abandoned around the 6th century ...

Our room at this resort was classified as being within one hotel and the resort had many different "hotels". It's quite a big place, enough so they manage to have the wildlife retreat in the middle and have something like 11 pools and 5 or 6 private beaches.
