The mighty Dolomite Passes
... valley. The whole valley, which must be about 10 miles across was filled with thick cloud and simply looked like a sea with great mountains surrounding it. One mountain reminded me of mount "Sugarloaf" in Rio, Brazil as it came straight out the cloud just like "Sugarloaf" just about does.

Onwards to find the Dolomites
... system kicked in as the tyres let go on the icy patches. One thing I love about this bike of mine is the Honda linked breaking system. On this system, if one applies the rear break it puts the rear brake on as normal but applies a very small amount of break to the right hand disk on the front wheel also. It makes it great for conditions such as this.
Because of this system I only used the rear brake pedal the whole way down this pass thus letting me keep my hands wrapped ...

A fantasia journy
Good morning!! I was surprised to wake up in one piece - the man that opened us our Zimmer at ortisei looked really weird and he had the face of the crazy Austrian we saw on the news...quickly I started telling myself a story about how he will kill us and give us to the dogs...brrrrr.... His wife seems to be ok she made us breakfast upon our request, it was really nice, actually we really like ortisei but unfortunately we have to leave early today we need to conquer the hardest part ...
