Our second pilgrimage is over, A very different experience, the good and the bad, the heat, cold and incessant at times rain. The quite often loneliness of being just 3 for kilometre after kilometre. The lack of watering holes and accommodation, even when found could be freezing. But... The amazing places - Fatima, Tomar, Coimbra, Porto, Rondella, Ponte Vendra, to mention a few. We are still getting used to Spanish time, the shops close but you can eat lunch between 12 & 2, some shops stay shut till about 4 and then things don't open for you to have tea till after 8 more like 9 - 10 at night before the Spanish get eating. Nobody seems to be up early either except the tourists!
