After the four hour bus ride from Gijon, I arrived in the beautiful beach town of la coruña. My Scottish friend Adam said this place was great. So I spent around five days here. I booked a hotel in the old town. When I arrived it was around 6pm I checked in and tried to speak to the receptionist in spanish. I failed miserably. I tried to ask where can I meet foreigners. Tuesday April 15 Santiago
Time to move on from Bueu to Santiago de Compostela. Mary drove us to Pontevedra so we could be sure to make our train, and avoid a long bus ride. We arrived early enough to sit together for a snack. ... Spent a couple of hours ashore then made it back for a bit of lunch. Went back ashore to an adjacent mall which had wifi to send a few messages and check emails. We experience the worst night of the 30 days last night! I would have rather had 20 people snoring than the racket and rowdiness we heard last night it was non stop partying and not by pilgrims but by the young citizens of Santiago! Apparently we found out they were out school until Monday and it was like spring break outside our window until about 5am! Then the clean up trash crew came then the construction workers that came at 7:30! It was like a comedy show! ...
