Once again we are up and at 'em early. Mainly because of the racket from the animals located right outside our room, but also because we have a 7:50am pickup to the train station in Ollantaytambo. Arrived at Aquas Calientes train station. Short walk to hotel. Shorter walk to buses. Criss crossing and zig zagging up the mountain. Wake from a sound sleep can't feel my fingers and lips/tongue have pins and needles. Have a moments panic,thinking could have something to do with seized legs then realise ALTITUDE SICKNESS!!!! We had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the river. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were adequate. It was an easy walk to the bus station.
