... a couple of hours wandering the streets. it is a very beautiful and clean city with lovely narrow lanes and nice shops. On our way back to the shuttle we stopped at a street side restaurant and enjoyed A glass of sangria while checking the wifi. The shops here suggest a well to do clientele and that is supported by the number and quality of the pleasure craft in the Marina. The Cathedral looked a magnificent site but unfortunately we did not have time to visit. ...
... hope I will always remember it. Climbing back up from the coast was just as fun and at points it really felt like we were in the clouds and on top of the mountains. We had a great view of the sunset from the mountains. When back to Palma, I took James to the Mexican place from a few weeks ago (tapas is great, but I'm starting to look like patatas bravas...!). Today we rediscovered our inner children and headed to Aqualand - the waterpark in Arenal. John, Andrea, Selina and I were joined by Trisha and Will for a really fun afternoon. The park was pretty quiet as most of the tourists had gone home, and I think the longest we queued for any of the rides was 15 minutes - and you could tell by the way the place was set up that usually the queues are a lot longer! Some slides used rubber rings, others we could pair up ...
