H10 La Nina Costa De Adeje

Just returned from La Nina. What can I say, other than a wonderful week. I sent an Email asking for a Sea view room as it was my birthday, this they gave us at no extra charge, and on the evening of my birthday, a knock came at the door, and a bottle of Cava, with 2 stem glasses was delivered on a silver platter, compliments of the Management and Staff. A wonderful gesture I thought that they had taken the trouble to note my comments. As regards the hotel, apparently it was only built 2 years ago, and there is so much space, the atmosphere is totally relaxed. Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 10.30am so there is no rush, or waiting for a table, you choose your own table, not wait to get shown to one, lunch if you take it is served from 12.30 - 3.30pm, so again, no rush, and evening meal is from 7.30 - 10.30pm. The choice of foods are vast, from proper gammon bacon and eggs fried while you wait, to all the usual cereals, many choices of breads, hot and cold, lots of pastries, lots of fresh fruit, the list goes on, and of course, washed down with Cava!!!. You just help yourself to this. The same choice is available at lunch and dinner. There is a lovely terrace where you can eat out of an evening. The rooms are fully air conditioned and we needed that in May, lovely and big, lots of cupboard space. A mini fridge is in the room as well which is neice for keeping your bottle of wine or your water chilled. The drinks at the bar were no different to the bars, and there is a beautiful pool area, with lots of loungers, and not reserved while we were there, a lovely pool side bar serving snacks both hot and cold all day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all, I cannot praise this hotel enough, I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, and will definitely return. The area it is situated in is also very good, you are near enough to the night life if you want it, and far enough away to miss all the noise. We went to see the whales from Puerto Colon, which is about a 5 minute walk away, which was fantastic, so rather than do the trip with your Rep., just walk round to the marina, and book it yourself. The little bars around the marina are really good value for money, and along the prom. at Adeje, you can buy a pint of Dorada for 1 Euro!! All in all we had a wonderful time.

We stayed at La Nina in March 2005 to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary and found it to be an excellent choice. The hotel was spotless, the staff very friendly and extremely helpful, convenient location and superb sea views from our 8th floor room. Can't comment about the food as we ate out most of the time, did go down for breakfast some days and there was plenty to please all palates. Would definitely go back again - just hope I don't have to wait for Golden Anniversary!!

I think this hotel is very good, we have 2 kids 3,1 stayed in juinor suite which was ideal (they have own room) very clean. good mixture of people. Food was good tried to cater for everyone taste, they have a microwave at breakfast and dinner which was very handy for heating baby bottles & food. Evening entertainment was ok not great kids loved the disco, and the swimming pool just the right height for 3 year old ( just below her waist) Close to beach and shops, big supermarket 5 min walk (up hill) Overall a really nice, friendly, very clean hotel, just evening entertainment needs to be improved

We stayed in La Niña for a week in January. In spite of the good advice from the User of North Yorkshire and our request to the reception desk about being far from the nightclub, one night it was impossible to sleep. Even staying on the third floor over the reception desk!!

The disco ran beyond its closing time and the hotel didn't do anything. We had to call to the police.

On the last day we filled out a complaint form to the authorities. People who have normal hearing avoid this hotel!!



Strong points:

-Free car park.

-Swimming pool area

-New buildings's rooms



Weak points:

-Very noisy disco

-Location in an impersonal place. If you don't go out of there, you wouldn't know what country you are in.

-Average food but no taste and repetitive.

-Cold air in the hall area for faults of construction.

We stayed there the first week in December. The hotel is excellent, very clean, friendly staff, lovely pool, organised activites, good location for the beach and bars. We would recommend learning a little Spanish as during the activites both day and night, the English was limited by the entertainment party, we knew they were making jokes but we just weren't sure what they were saying! A few phrases learnt would be helpful and any attempts we made were appreciated. It made a nice change for us English speakers to have to make the effort.

One small point, we were on the first floor of bedrooms and could hear the bass music from the nightclub underneath, we didn't ask to change rooms as it was bearable but maybe not for people with children.

The restaurant had a different theme every night, some nights were better than others, it depended on your tastes. My party all had different likes and we could always find something to suit. Bring long trousers for men.

We would highly recommend it.

this hotel was absolutley fandabidosy, had an excellant time here with my boyfriend in septmeber 2004. the staff were VERY accomodating and freindly, i would recommend it to anyone- families, couples and singles. me and my boyfirend will defiantley be returning next year.

My partner & I stayed at the La Nina in February 2004, We found the atmosphere relaxing, the food good, the room excellent, the facilities were excellent as well, all in all a Hotel we would return to, in fact we will be next year.

H10 La Nina - Tenerife

Fantastic hotel, good entertainment programme, friendly staff, cosy relaxed atmosphere, the food was excellent, the rooms spotless and cleaned to a high standard everyday. The pool area was quiet and ideal for relaxation.

Overall a lovely hotel suited to those who enjoy a relaxing holiday.

I've been there for about ten days.

I can recommend this hotel for all people who want to have more hotel for less money.

The only thing they have to work on is the food.

If they have that under control its realy a super hotel!!!!

I will try it again some day!
