One of the endearingly infuriating habits of my husband (hello dear!) is that we never stay in a hotel without moving rooms once. Or twice. The first room is too noisy ( despite having pre-requested the quietest room at the back) or perhaps it is too light or too near the lift. We would have dinner and stay up till 11 ish drinking our way through the amazingly priced San Miguel. We have had an amazing time here so much to do and cannot recommend it enough! Tomorrow we Are up early to go to Barcelona, we are just going to spend the day there and go to see the football barca vs Roma, should be ace! ...

    Wednesday 29 July
Left mid morning andheaded for Menorca. Got a pretty reasonable sail in and anchored in
a delightful, but full, cove. There were many boats attached torocks but we just anchored. It was pretty tight and luckily the catamaran anchored near us left in the evening so we reanchored wherethey were, which proved to be the right decision as the wind picked
up in the evening and we would have swung too close to the rocks for our liking.

On arrival we checked in and they told us to go and find a pitch, I quite like this but Lorna was none to impressed, after all that driving, she just wanted I be told where to park up but it did give us the flexibility to find a spot which we like and suited! It's a massive site with nearly 800 pitches, all quite shaded so ...
