... it's purpose was to provide another shopping option for the Norwegians, who have one of the highest living costs in the world! The Norwegians come across to Sweden & buy up in bulk!! We spent a few hours there, mainly hanging out in Subway, preparing the last of our paperwork for our tax refund.

Believing we'd done as much as we could, we headed to the border which is basically in the middle of a huge fiord, crossed by 2 huge bridges. With some difficulty ...

... of Mercedes, and knew Brisbane quite well. He went on to tell us how he embarrassed himself by half-destroying a new company Mercedes M class that he took to Fraser Island and got bogged and towed out, and wrecked all the underside because it didn't have enough under-belly clearance for the tracks.... He said the company was embarrassed that it had failed so miserably and so they just accepted the damage and said nothing... Very windy across Denmark, and ...

... nice quiet little BBQ on the brygge....Nuh huh....when we got there we find that Haakon and Kari were there too, back from their trip North when we went south, and of course Per also arrived, and as we arrived, so did Hans and Pia and young Per the fisherman/boatie, and Knut and Nina and Rebekka and Ellen, so all-up 14!

... it we give George a way-point of another town, so off we went. About 30 mins into our trip, and Treas suddenly realised we were on the "bad" road anyway, and so we had to do a uie, much to George's consternation, and we were soon steaming along happily. We made Lillebar's farm ok and were immediately treated to lunch of elk-rissoles, fried onions, home-made bread, home-grown veggies, and finished off with several delicious home-made jams like marmalade, raspberry, ...
