... maybe 7 hours would have worn on me. I received confirmation from the others that this was the case. We all walked into Leon together and headed to the main plaza right in front of the cathedral to have our daily welcome beer. Luckily we picked a place with good tapas accompanying every drink. At this point, everyone is now copying my usual beer order: Instead of just ordering a "cana", you can get a "cana grande" for only a little more money and probably at ...

We had a first glance of Leon in the late afternoon. I could see and feel the past glory of this country in this city. That's right, the dog is in a basket carried over his shoulder. The meal was different and delicious. Enjoyed breakfast together and set out af a reasonable time. The countryside was changing however there was usually a backdrop of corn fields stretching into the distance. I do deliberately look each day for ...

... encouraged to bar hop due to each bar having a different tapas. You don’t want the same one twice in a row do you! So we carried on around the corner a bit and went for round two. This time on the menu was potato bravas - which is spiced potato in a sauce and some meatballs! Just a couple of mouthfuls worth which all goes down nicely with the giant bucket of wine.

We had a wee break in a nearby park after that because it was uber hot, I even think I ...
