... into the city where Bern gave as a short orientation and we were free for the next 3 hours to explore. Innsbruck is the home of Swarovski Crystal and there were many of their shopping bags back on the coach :) We arrived at our hotel at around 6:00, settled in and had our included Schnitzel dinner at 7;00. ... have to admit, that even for a bloke, it is an amazing place! Absolutely everything in the place sparkles, from the stairs, to the tables, to the toilets..... So we spent a while there as Treas sampled everything, and bought virtually nothing, and then did a general wander around the old town which has a quite a nice feel to it, and parts date back to the 1500s. Will post this now while I still have good wifi, and try to come back to it ...

This morning we drove to Austria. We started the day with White water rafting in the Inn river in Innsbrook. The water was freezing but we had wet suits and it it was worth it. Amazing views. We had some of the local cuisine: goulash soup and schnitzel. They speak German. Off to ...
