... took the very sweaty tram back into Koln for some sightseeing around the cathedral which Elly very much enjoyed whilst I checked out the cathedrals pews, luckily she didn't manage to see the downstairs section and I distracted her whilst the people in front of us went down the stairs. The cathedral was too much excitement so we went and grabbed a local gelato before returning to the campsite for a dip in the Rhine to cool off and enjoyed a beer in the sun. ... maps there is no trail makers SO don't ever think of biking in Germany it's a no go
found track non rhine river and headed for home with pick your own strawberries on the way
checked out band festival ( Mayor there again )
was going to pitch tent on lawn and pretend we on way to Amsterdam bikes stil packed. Think we might try and catch tram to Duisburg tomorrow and continue from there
