After Trier, we headed to Cologne to see the cathedral. Cologne is a big city and we had a heck of time finding the parking and then lugging our stuff into the hotel--a little stressful :). Once we got settled, we headed straight to the cathedral. It's a bit like the grand canyon in that you can't appreciate just how big it is until you experience in person. I couldn't get far enough back to get the ...

From the chocolate museum we walked about 5-10 minutes to a
preserved roman ruin. It was pretty cool. We walked down what seemed to be a
sewerage system tunnel, checked out some items found on the dig and then walled
along the viewing platform to see the roman town hall/administrative centre of
    the town.

Right outside, we found a shop which sold hand painted
    steins. I got Declan, ...

... Germans watching the football match. I wish I was here for their match on Saturday! I rested in my hotel and prepared myself for the 6 hour train ride tomorrow to Switzerland! I cannot wait to see the Alps! Tonight was a relaxing and rest night because I'm in a great room and I don't have to see people. More importantly, I can just lay down in my king size bed! Memorable quote: Haallo laadies - drunk German guys at the cafe Tomorrow: Lucerne (Luzern) Switzerland! I heard they make nice ...
