... at that particular pub. Friends and family members usually belong to the same drinking club. We saw Beethoven's birth place. On the outside of the house they have a plaque which says he was born on 17.12.1770, however that is the date of his baptism and his actual birthdate which would be shortly before that is unknown. Since the late 1800's the house has been a Beethoven Museum and research centre for his music. At 2:00 pm we sailed for Amsterdam ...

... in. Next up was a museum. Well a museum of sorts. See we learned that Bonn is actually the birthplace of my favorite gummy bear brand: Haribo! The "b" and the "o" signify Bonn. So Julia said we had to go see the Haribo store and we were all too willing. Together with Herbert and Julia we saw aisles and aisles of sugar gummies in all types and colors. Even found that 2lb bag of gummy bears that's hard to find in the states. If you've looked it up on amazon purely for the reviews ...

... everywhere you go; just a touch overwhelming (my stardom from Munich clearly hasn't spread to Cologne just yet). He took us on a mini nighttime tour of the old town too, showing us the old Roman ruins and of course checking out the famous Dom by night. It's such an incredible building, so gothic and eerie looking but beautiful all the same.

Leslie dropped me back to my hostel and it ended up being one of the funniest nights I've had; from sitting ...
