Back to the crowds and another Christmas market.. Complete with ice skating rink, ferris wheel and numerous festive attractions.. One fellow cutting tree trunks into Xmas statues, animals etc has a captive audience. Being Saturday ...

... astonishing grandeur I was exhausted but well pleased with my day. I decided to use the public transport that Germany has to offer and took a tram one block from the cathedral to Barbarossaplats stop just 2 minutes from my hotel. In total it took me fourteen minutes, and cost just two Eurp, to get back instead of twenty five of walking and although this doesn’t seem much quicker the fact that I could relax for about ten minutes was tremendously appreciated. ...
