The most entertaining bit was arriving in Ljubljana Airport and picking up the hire car for my first driving on the right hand side of the road experience (have previously driven in NZ but they are the same as side as the UK).

      ... was added on to the church. The sculpture decoration for the chapel was done by Aleksij Koe*****. In the same year Anton Lerchinger from Rogatec painted the frescoes with the scenes of the Saints' Legend. The organs are probably the work of Janeček from 1764.

      ... the coiled serpent while Denny and I took pictures... how thoughtful of us. Watched a nice TV show - the Roman Mysteries series by BBC - kids love it.... and two tired kids fell fast asleep while we enjoyed a delicious bottle of wine our host dropped into us... they made the wine themselves from grapes on a 100+yr old vineyard.... without a doubt one of the best wines we have ever tasted.

      ... we headed back to the country we had dinner with my sister's friend who was a very nice, intelligent and charming local man who spoke English very well; we were very happy to meet him and exchange stories about our respective countries.

      On Sunday we drove out to a small town called Sveti Tomaž to visit the parents of my brother-in-law. Their house was beautiful and located on the side of some rolling hills with an old church in the near distance. ...

      ... Centre and also got Sarah in a Cable Car up the mountain, she took a bit of time to get on it but did so although she didn't take in many of the views up or down....

      There aren't many outstanding features around the town but as said before the views make up for this, maybe we didn't find everything, its a lovely place and would recommend a visit..
