          ... hitting the western suburbs along the Fox River just in time for the end of rush hour. We sat in I-88 traffic and then got really stuck near the River Road toll plaza on I-90. It was a bit annoying to delay our return when we were only 2 miles away.           ... of the Rockies. Vancouver Airport was efficient and attractive. Aside from the usual bilingual signs there were ones in Chinese, reflecting the huge rise in immigration. Caught the Skytrain - a legacy from the 2010 Winter Olympics - followed by the bus. It was lovely to see Angela again and she welcomed me with a rum and mango juice on the rocks.
