So Friday we spent all day on the great wall as previously said. A much more peaceful and scenic journey than before. Before the great wall we went to the ming tombs. we went to a different place than I went previously and we got to see a lot of neat statues. ... pollution! Weather forecasts have constantly being calling what we have "sunny". One can make out the sun up through the haze in much the same way as you see the sun through a winter snow squall.

I am all packed up now, ready to change hotels tomorrow and meet up with the Dragoman group 10 a.m. tomorrow morning. We have a full day in Beijing tomorrow then, I believe, hit the road Friday morning.
