    ... are over. I had to request early leave (we still have to sit in empty schools) and went to the local hospital. To my surprise they said because I've had lunch they cant do the test. I thought it was the normal blood/urine test but this seemed to be something more detailed.

    ... I didn't find was a singular person who was well informed on BOTH. So here is what I've learned thus far:

    I work at a private school. My main position is teaching kindergartners for the majority of the day. In the afternoon, I scurry around the corner to our secondary location which is where many students come for additional after school lessons. Most children in Korea are enrolled in numerous after-school programs, such as Tae Kwon Do, music lessons, ...

    ... I'm doubtful that this would work.

    Nevertheless, after a less than brutal 2 hour trip to and from immigration- along with both of my supervisors, and the three of us being piled into a school van that was chauffeured to Daegu by an ECC employee (during which time, NO English was spoke) I am registered in The Republic of Korea. And in another short 2-3 weeks, I will be issued my card. (That I paid a hefty little bit to get.)
