        ... and donned our jackets for a dash to the metro. Although it was only a minute to the metro we were soaked by the time we got underground. We got off a few stops later and emerged to a lighter rain, however this was short lived as minutes into our walk the sky went almost black and huge drops turned the pavements into rivers - we were dripping wet! We eventually found the motel and changed into dry clothes before ...

        The food is a beast all its own.

        ... and Starbucks within walking distance of my apartment, I thought- I WILL NEVER GO HUNGRY!!

        Alas, I had made a pact (with myself) to try my hardest to eat "traditional" foods. Which isn't too difficult if you're eating out with coworkers all the time. I had a box of granola bars I ate for breakfast, lunch is provided at the school, and we typically gathered for meal time across the street from our school at "Gimbop Heaven" (aka- The Orange Place)

        Again, I want to stress- this entry is NOT to defer anyone from moving to Korea to teach. On the contrary, I am having a great time overall.
