    ... find a pub close by where an English bulldog is mauling a parking cone. He's a friendly sort. We call him "fisher" after a favourite friend. After a meal it's back to "Le Chance" our overflow checkin. We have a king size bed with single sheets. I'm not going downstairs to try and explain to "Rula Lenzka" what the fxxx the problem is. I'd asked for Internet earlier and it resulted in a 20 minute wait while Rula screamed into a walkie talkie ...

    ... the boat, jumped off the rails into the water and explored villages and beaches that we pulled into. We went to a little island with ancient ruins 2000 years old. We swam at our first beach that had sand - usually they only have rocks. We weren't allowed to walk or put our towels on the sand because it was so precious! We got back to Bodrum after 6 days sailing! Next stop ...

    ... under the stars. It's a pretty ****** life... Each day we motor to 3 or 4 different, but equally beautiful coves to swim and explore. We read, fish, play cards and generally relax. We have seen some interesting sealife, whilst not abundant like home, there has been enough to keep us entertained. A beautiful sea turtle, some incredible jellyfish that look like fried eggs and Greg even caught a Moray ...

So when I returned to Selcuk from my days of staying in a hotel in Söke, while visiting the sites of Priene, Miletus and Didyma, I called him and told him I would take his advice and go to Kapikiri. Would he call his pension keeper friend and set things up for me--like being picked up by Emin at the bus stop in Bafa. He agreed, and Dave and I met in Selcuk, and he made the arrangements.
