... Beach has been able to retain the charm of a small town florida coast. The state park is not very large and the camp ground is about half mile from the beach and half mile from the road, so it is very quiet. The spaces are spread apart so you have privacy amidst the slash pines and brush. Clean bathroom facility and easy walk to the beach or drive either one.

Our penultimate day on the road saw us make our way to Panama City for a stop over at a beach resort. ... couple of hours at the beach I headed back to camp and grabbed a bite to eat, leftover burgers was perfect to satisfy my hunger. I took advantage of the shade at the campsite and lurked around there for a while before heading back over to brave the beach. ... on our 5 hour trip :/ the whole arvo was a blur until we arrived at our campsite in Panama City beach. It was pretty hot and humid when we arrived so setting up camp wasn't exactly ideal, sweat dripping everywhere. Once the tents were up I was on cooking duty so we got to it.
