Staying at Martin Lake Resort which is a definite stretch! It is mobile home park not an rv park, with old fifth wheels and campers that people call home. There is a nice lake and a pool. We drove down along the gulf and stopped to take pictures of the carved trees damaged during Katrina. Absolutely beautiful! Had dinner at BBQ joint that had wonderful reviews but we didn't like it as much. However the owner was so friendly it made up for it. Leave tomorrow for ...

... and we all played a friendly game of bean bag toss over a nice little gathering place at our Cajun RV park. We even attracted a small audience as we sounded like we were having a good time. ... joe Williams, in the gallery of African American art, it was a fun exhibit. did most of his paintings on .recycled materal, like doors and shutters!!! loved it. also the sculpture of rod Moorhead. this show was called entropy, he used clay from the river around here to make figures and used a straw firing, another amazing amazing. for my pottery peps, look him up as well as George e Ohr.
