Srinagar is famous for its houseboats on the lake, and even if you already have a place to stay, people will not stop giving you offers. ... to readjust the temperature again. It did not help that last night happen to be a very cold night By the way it takes about a minute for the hot water to act up. Muster up my courage I did and washed my hair too ! Later on we were informed that the other 2 empty rooms were occupied by a family from Delhi. So far we have not really mingle with them. They keep to themselves. Tomorrow up the mountain and I got a feeling I am going to freeze my butt off ...

When we began our journey, we had no other vehicle accompanying us except for an Army convoy was earlier ahead of us and later it followed us till we reached Kargil.
