The clouds were getting fuller, thicker, and darker; then BAM. It started raining. Not a gentle rain – it began to pour. Felt so good. The humidity finally broken and the cooling rain felt wonderful. Just as quickly as it started it was over. In another five minutes, another deluge – twice as hard and twice as long as the first. We were under the deck and in the shade, but got ...

It took us just on 2 hours to make it back to Hersonissos where we had an early dinner. Ali had a Greek dish called Stifado which is slow cooked beef with onions in a tomato sauce. This was served in a crusty bread roll. Mel had spag bog. By now the weather had set in so we retired to our resort to chill out and watch a ...

... right hand and Ali's groans as she got close to the edge of the road, or a parked car. (Still married) We descended the plateau to the town of Nikolaos. A very nice little port town where day tours head off to Spinalonga the Greek equivalent of Alcatraz. We had a good look around the various shops and sat and had a drink and a rather large garlic bread, more like a ...
