... The security was very thorough. Most of those ahead of me in line were Turkish and they need a visa to visit the EU and their passports are screened as well as their fingerprints!

When I finally came to the agent I wondered what would be expected. After a quick scan and the wonderful sounding thump of the country entry stamp I was on my way.

We clambered in their 7 seater and they drove up into the depths of Rhodes and up Gulf montain to a place called Filerimoss (This is how it sounds no idea how it's spelt) where there is a memorial from their war with Portugal and now stands as a kind of hilltop nature spot with amazing views.

... good and I resisted. I also saw a car crash where the two people got out their cars shouted at each other then got back in and drove off. There seem to be no car parks here or parking tickets as zebra crossings, corners, roundabouts and pavements are a free for all. I went into the archaeological centre and me at six euro it was steal. Now I'm not one to have much of an interest in these things but with pottery from 630BC and some amazing historical findings I spent over 2 hours ...
